Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group donates $20,000 to hospitality workers impacted by pandemic

Posted
The Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group (LVRG) awarded the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA) a donation of $20,250 toward its HARP (Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania) program Wednesday at Red Robin in Exton. Recipients of the HARP program, as well as PRLA members, were awarded the donations raised from 10 percent of sales for the re-opening of all 21 Red Robin locations.

The LVRG’s Red Robin locations began opening their indoor dining on May 29, as select Pennsylvania counties entered the green phase. To celebrate the grand re-openings, LVRG donated 10% of the day’s sales from each of the Red Robin locations to HARP.

The PRLA launched HARP to provide immediate emergency funding to hospitality workers that have been impacted by COVID-19. HARP distributes one-time, individual grants to unemployed hospitality industry workers on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to the availability of funds. The PRLA is accepting applications and distributing grants as donations are brought in. Donations can be made at https://web.prla.org/harp/harp_form.aspx or by texting HARP to 44-321.
