Two Palisades teams opened Colonial League tournament play this week.
The Pirates’ field hockey team, seeded fourth, defeated No. 5 Wilson 3-1 at Salisbury High School on Monday. The Pirates advanced to Wednesday’s semifinal tilt against No. 1 Southern Lehigh; results were unavailable at press time.
The fifth-seeded boys soccer team fell to No. 4 Northwestern 9-1 in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
