Landmark Developers – owners of the Logan Inn and Hotel DuVillage in New Hope – along with many other venues in New Jersey, recently purchased the 42-acre Elkins Estate in Montgomery County for $6.5 million, with plans to restore the site and open it as a luxury hotel.

According to published reports, Frank Cretella, president of Landmark Developers, plans to restore the Guilded Age mansion that served as home to the Dominican Sisters for 80 years. His luxury hotel reportedly would offer more than 100 rooms, a spa, a restaurant and a distillery.

Landmark’s New Jersey venues include the Hudson House, The Boathouse at Mercer Lake, Liberty House, The Ryland Inn, Stone House at Stirling Ridge, The Farmhouse, Crave Events Group, Celebrate at Neshanic Valley, and Felina.
