Lambertville Historical Society art auction set at Rago gallery


Lambertville Historical Society’s Plein Air Plus Silent Art Auction returns from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Rago Arts & Auction Center, Cherry and Main streets, Lambertville, N.J.

Guests are invited to sip wine and sample hors d’oeuvres and listen to live music as they view over 35 pieces of original art by 27 artists – inspired by the beauty of the Delaware River and surrounding river towns.

This year offers an exclusive variety of styles, mediums and studio works of the surrounding area by local artists. More than 30 works of art will be featured during the event, benefiting the Lambertville Historical Society and the James Marshall House Museum.

All works will be on display and minimum bids will be set. Bidding will close at 7 p.m., sharp, with winners announced by 7:30 p.m. Plein Air Plus will also feature live music by the local band The Lifters, hors d’ oeuvres and beverages. There is a $20 suggested donation, $10 donation for LHS members.
