Tickets are $25 general admission, $10 for students and free for children 12 and younger when accompanied by an adult, available at the door (check or cash), or at
lafiocco.org.
Fittante is a well-known choreographer and specialist in the dance of the Baroque era who has worked with Apollo’s Fire, Juilliard 415, and the Boston Early Music Festival.
Artistic Director Lewis R. Baratz, who is on the faculty of Lafayette College, will lead an ensemble to include recorder, baroque violins, violas, cello, and harpsichord.
“La Fiocco will recreate the spectacles that were seen at Versailles and the court of Spain,” Baratz said. “We have two of the best Baroque dancers in the country with us for this special event. This will be a unique opportunity for our audience to witness the vigor, elegance and virtuosity of 17th and 18th century dance.”
