La casita mia opens in Hargrave House

Posted

La casita mia, the newest addition to Doylestown’s multicultural scene, has opened at Hargrave House, 50 S. Main St., Doylestown.

Established as food and art boutique, La casita mia features artisan foods and designs from around the globe. “Its combination of color, art and enticing food makes an artistic and wholesome experience.”

Hargrave House, a Georgian-style stone building constructed sometime between 1812 and 1814 has been a part of Doylestown’s rich and diverse history.

“I am very excited to welcome La casita mia as a partner in the Hargrave House” said Jonathan S. Rudolph, proprietor of Hargrave House Bed & Breakfast.

La casita mia brings “new and interesting flavors” from various countries to the local food scene that diners can enjoy for takeout, breakfast and lunch. It will serve as platform for different ethnic groups to share their talents with the local community.

The menu offers fresh, seasonal ingredients, which take on a new twist when combined with the unique flavor of Latin America’s multi-cultural heritage, according to partners Sofia Bedoya Gil and Sandra Schick. Gil was a co-founder of the former Boccadito Fine Cuisine in Doylestown.
