Posted

The Lambertville-New Hope Kiwanis Club donated $5,000 to the Lambertville American Legion Post 120 to help defray the cost of extensive repairs to the Legion’s headquarters at 320 N. Union Street.

Post 120 has been unable to operate since its building sustained extensive damage in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida in early September 2021.

Bill Corboy, president of the Lambertville-New Hope Kiwanis Club, presented the check to Post 120 Commander Norb Russo. Commander Russo thanked all who contributed their time and funds to the cause. Post 120 plans to reopen in time to celebrate a century of service to the community and its military veterans.

The Kiwanis Club has been serving the community since 1923, and have been longtime partners with the American Legionin helping the community of Lambertville.
