Kenneth R. Stryker

Kenneth R. Stryker, 65, of Springtown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa.
He was born May 18, 1956 in Somerville, N.J., a son of the late Gerald and Gladys Jones Stryker.
Ken’s first business venture was K & B Autobody in Milford, N.J., where he was co-owner for 10 years. Later, he owned and operated Maxi Motors in Maxatawny, Pa., for about five years and then in Hellertown, Pa., for about 10 years. He retired in 2019 from Maxi Motors and was presently working part time as a truck driver for Walt’s Outdoor Equipment in Ringoes, N.J. He was a supportive member of the Silver Creek Athletic Association, Springtown, Pa., where he volunteered his time with fundraising projects. Ken loved anything to do with cars including going to car shows, buying and selling cars and especially classic restoration. In earlier years, he enjoyed Enduro Car Racing at Flemington Speedway.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dawn Rossi, with whom he shared 32 years, 10 of them in marriage; his children, Lucas Stryker and his wife Hoda, Amber Bedell and Taylor Stryker; grandchildren, Brody, Quinn, Trynity and Ayla; siblings, Douglas Stryker, Deborah Murphy, Pamela Hasse, Scott Stryker and Lisa Spinelli.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, 1 p.m. at Bridgeton Athletic Association, 1340 Bridgeton Hill Rd., Upper Black Eddy, Pa.
