Kehilat HaNahar offers Shul School in a Box

Posted

Kehilat HaNahar, The Little Shul by the River, in New Hope is now offering “Shul School In a Box,” a set of at-home activities, books and other learning materials sent home each month to engage its PreK to 10th grade students.

Shul School in a Box is a vehicle for parents to spend time with their young learners outside of KHN’s virtual classrooms. Each month, subscribing families receive in the mail one book related to that time of the Jewish year and supplies for an easy thematic arts and crafts project that parents and their learner(s) can do together.

According to Rabbi Jonah Rank, education director of the KHN Shul School, “Shul School fosters a love of Judaism, encourages an enthusiasm for Jewish learning, and instills a strong sense of Jewish community and individual Jewish identity. Shul School in a Box is a perfect way to extend our regular virtual learning program to in-person learning at home.”

The KHN Shul School and Shul School in a Box are open to virtual learners from across the U.S. For information, visit kehilathanahar.org/learning/shul-school.html or contact Rank at KHNSchool@gmail.com.
