Judith C. Wilson

Posted

Our beautiful, loving and talented mom left this life to join our dad on Easter Sunday, April 17,2022. Judith Castree Wilson of Doylestown, Pa., died peacefully at home with the loving assistance of Doylestown Hospice.

She was 84 years old and the wife of the late Alvin J. Wilson.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Gilbert E. and Hazel Haeger Castree. Judy was a proud alumna of the Central Bucks High School, Class of 1955. She attended Juniata College and Tyler School of Art. Some of her happiest times were spent at her high school girlfriends’ monthly “Lunch Bunch.” Pre-retirement, she was employed by Clemens Market in New Britain, Pa., as their scanning coordinator. However, her favorite titles were that of wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. Her children and grandchildren will most miss her extraordinary cooking, sewing and mending talents.

She was a friend of EVERY furry, four-legged creature she met and brought home. Our dad always said, with a smirk, that he’d like to return as one of Judy Wilson’s dogs. She is survived by her devoted children: Pam Gazda (Rich), Jeff Wilson and Jon Wilson (Mary Ellen). She was honored being “Gram” to: Chris Gazda (Jenn), Drew Gazda (Samantha), Abby Wilson Charboneau (Michael), James Wilson, Rebecca Wilson and Norah Wilson. The recent addition of her great-grandson, Mason Gazda, was particularly exciting for “GG.” Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to: Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901; Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, 1531 Upper Stump Road, Chalfont, PA 18914, or Wags Rescue and Referral, P.O. Box 1514, Southampton, PA 18966.
