Joseph Jay Hall, 64, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at the Hunterdon Medical Center after a short illness with Covid.
Born on June 12, 1957 in Flemington, N.J., Joe had lived in West Amwell Township since 1986. An avid bowler, Joe the “Wall” Hall, bowled numerous 300 point games along with 800 series. For many years he bowled at Frenchtown Bowling Lanes and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. An employee since 1994 with Bishops Market in Whitehouse, N.J., Joe had been involved with grocery markets from a young age. He and his late wife Ruth Jeannette Hall were very fond of chihuahua puppies and they raised many over the years.
Widower of Ruth Jeanette Hall who just passed away on Jan. 2, 2022 he is survived by, two daughters, Charity Payne Hall, Tina Louise Eick and her husband George, his grandson Jonathan Eick, three sisters, Janet Timari, Dawn Terriego, and Kelly Reiser, sister-in-law Maryann Hartman and her husband Gerald, nephew Jason Hartman and his longtime girlfriend Miranda Leiggi ,brother-in-law Charles Cooper and his wife Christina, sister-in-law Donna McCombs, longtime bowling buddy and good friend Dennis Hart and lifelong friend Paul Lazorisak, his two beloved chihuahuas, Pepper and Belle and kitty, Scooter. The family would also like to include his extended family at Bishop’s Market & West Hunterdon Lanes.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Garefino Funeral Home 12 N. Franklin St., Lambertville, NJ 08530.
