Jennifer Florentino (Donovan) of New Hope passed away quietly on Thursday, May 4 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 66 years old.

Born on April 1, 1957 in Abington Pa., the daughter of Anielo and Betty Florentino and the beloved wife of Mark Donovan, with whom she shared 49 years of friendship and just short of 34 years of marriage.

Jennifer worked in many positions including her time as a licensed real estate agent, working in banking with 3rd Federal Bank, and with her husband in their own business. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with family, traveling to the beach, and being a member of the Women’s Golf Association of Jericho National Golf Club, her true passion. The friendships she made at the golf club and Cornerstone Health and Fitness meant the world to her.

Despite working through many medical setbacks in her life, she graduated from Shippensburg State University; maintaining her grade point average to National Honors Society standards throughout her college career. With her incredible sense of humor and killer smile, she was well liked by everyone she would meet. Her athletic ability, perseverance, and personality made Jennifer a very diverse person, and one who will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband Mark, her sister Susan (Eric), and her brother-in-law Gregg Donovan (Reen) and preceded in death by her brother-in-law Mick Donovan (Susanne). She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to Jennifer’s Life Celebration on Thursday, May 11, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at John F. Givnish of Buckingham 4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912, followed by a luncheon at the Cock’n Bull restaurant in Peddler’s Village at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jennifer’s name can be made to: First Tee of Greater Trenton, 750 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618.
