James DiBiasio

Jim DiBiasio, 84, of Warrington, passed away on Jan. 18 from complications of COVID-19. He was the loving husband of 55 years to Linda (DuFresne) and a nurturing father to sons Jamie (Mabel Leung) of Hong Kong and Christopher (Monica Bell) of Maine.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Josephine Szmanski and Louis DiBiasio, and by his brothers, Bernard, Louis and Daniel.
Jim was a gifted actor of both film and theater. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity and he performed primarily in New York City, which was his second home He also enjoyed many winters in Key West, Fla., where he embraced the island’s creative community. He loved vacationing with his family on Block Island, R.I., with all its natural beauty. In his quiet time, he was a runner, gardener and jazz enthusiast.
He was special to all who knew and loved him. And he will be missed. A celebration of his talented and spirited life will be held in the spring.
