Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Perkasie has received a grant
from the Foundations Community Partnership to assist with the center’s
COVID-19 relief. Ivy Hill applied to the Foundations Community
Partnership’s COVID-19 Response Grant and has been notified it will be
receiving a $4,500 grant. This grant will be going toward supporting
riders who want to return to their needed equine assisted therapy, but
due to COVID-19, may have a new financial hardship.
“We are so grateful to be the recipients of this grant,” said Laura
Brockett-Strausser, executive director of Ivy Hill Therapeutic
Equestrian Center. “The special needs community has been uniquely
affected by the current public health crisis with their much-needed
equine therapies being postponed. We cannot wait until we can safely
welcome riders back to our facility”.
