If you’re hearing drum rolls echoing throughout the Delaware Valley it may be because the Bucks County Herald received over 1,400 nominations for its first annual "Best of the Region" awards program launched in May. Now it’s voting time.
“We are thrilled by the response to our call for nominations and can’t wait see who will be heralded by our readers as the best at what they do," said Joe Wingert, publisher of the Herald.
Online voting starts today and runs through August 10.
Voters will be eligible to receive a cash prize of $500, a family four pack to the Franklin Institute’s Harry Potter exhibit and tickets to the Crayola Crayon Factory.
Businesses that receive the most votes will be celebrated in a special “Best of the Region Magazine” published in print and online on Sept. 15.
