Newtown-based Inspire Federal Credit Union announced a new branch location that will continue to fulfill its mission of supporting working families and underserved communities.
As part of an initiative with the Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association, Inspire Federal Credit Union will make an investment in a full-service branch within the boundaries of the 700-unit housing cooperative.
Inspire’s mission is to promote economic prosperity and affordable financial products and services all through Bucks County, “where we live and work.”
“The partnership with the Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association and our investment in the community reflects our commitment to provide the residents of Warminster Heights, as well as all residents in the surrounding community, the ability to access financial services and products very easily and affordably”, said Jim Merrill, president/CEO of Inspire FCU.
In addition to providing core banking products, Inspire Federal Credit Union will additionally focus on offering financial literacy courses and workshops that will benefit the entire community.
“Inspire Federal Credit Union will quickly demonstrate to the Warminster community that we will fill the gap that exists in doing business with the larger money center and traditional banks. We will make opening affordable savings and checking accounts attainable, as well as, offering other services needed to help the community meet all their banking needs,” added Merrill.
The tentative opening date for the branch is scheduled for early October. A grand opening event will be held to introduce Inspire to the local community, featuring account opening promotions and much more.
