Impressionist artist Bradley Boyer’s painting, “Spring in the Valley,” a 36-inch by 36-inch oil on canvas, was the top lot at the Baum School Art Auction in Allentown on May 15.

The painting, complemented by a John Twachtmnan-style hand-carved frame, cataloged and numbered for historical significance and provenance, set an auction record for Boyer’s work, selling for a bid of $13,750.
