In celebration of Art Week, Patricia Hutton Galleries presents its annual “Autumn Landscape” exhibition, opening Wednesday, Sept. 4.
This is a gallery-wide group show, which highlights the beauty of fall with seasonal landscapes and still lifes in oil, pastel and watercolor. Artists include Daniel Anthonisen, Frank Arcuri, Dot Bunn, Frankie Balek, Michael Filipiak, Dorothy Hoeschen, Bradley Hendershot, Katharine Krieg, Dean Thomas, Richard Lennox, Bill Farnsworth, Barbara Sesta, Janine Dunn Wade and more.
“Autumn paintings are among the favorites of our collectors and many are looking forward to seeing the bold and beautiful hues of fall,” said gallery owner Patricia Hutton. “It’s an exciting time of year for art enthusiasts.”
In addition to the Autumn show, the gallery also will be highlighting the work of award-winning artist Steve Zazenski. A signature member of the American Watercolor Society, he has received more than 150 awards and will be doing a live demonstration from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
There will also be a live demonstration by artist Janine Dunn Wade, from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. Wade is also an award-winning artist who has placed first-in-show at the historic Phillips’ Mill exhibition. She is well-known for her alla prima florals and also works in pastel.
The Autumn show will run through November. The gallery will also have a selection of small works and local artisan crafts available during the two-day art festival.
