Hunterdon County, N.J., and Hunterdon Medical Group are partnering to provide a local COVID-19 testing location for Hunterdon County residents beginning Tuesday, July 21, from 1 to 5 p.m., Hunterdon County Freeholder Board Director Shaun C. Van Doren has announced.
Van Doren stated, “The Freeholders are committed to ensuring that individuals who need COVID-19 testing have access in our area. Now that testing for county residents has ended at RVCC, the county and Hunterdon Medical Group are joining together to provide testing at a convenient location in Raritan Township.”
To receive a free COVID-19 test at the Hunterdon Medical Group (HMG) Assessment and Testing Site, located at 121 Route 31S, Suite 100, in Raritan Township, N.J., residents must have a prescription from their provider and must make an appointment calling (908) 237-4230 or emailing HMGDOTTesting@hhsnj.org.
Whether by email or phone call, individuals requesting a test should provide their full name and phone number to receive a call-back from a staff member to schedule their test.
Testing priority is based on the current NJDOH and CDC guidelines.
COVID-19 testing is also available at Walmart, 152 NJ-31 N, Raritan Township, and at the CVS, 798 Route 202, in Readington, N.J.
