Hunterdon County remembered the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks last Saturday at a community event held on the steps of the Historic Courthouse in Flemington, N.J.
Dr. Jean Kanokogi, a federal agent who responded to ground zero on Sept. 11, served as a guest speaker. She was joined by Sheriff Fred Brown, Prosecutor Renee Robeson and other first responders and law enforcement officers.
Hunterdon County lost 16 residents at the attacks on the World Trade Center.
