The Hunterdon Central girls volleyball teams held their Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser on Oct. 15 and raised $1,687 for the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center through a bake sale and basket raffles. Several members of the team stopped by recently to present the check and baskets with donated items including blankets, pillows, socks, hats, puzzles, lotions and candy to help provide comfort and care to patients currently receiving treatment. They were joined at the presentation by Jill Pelonero, director of Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center; and Amy Tiedemann, director of development, Hunterdon Health Foundation.
