Hunterdon County Vocational School District’s (HCVSD) Polytech Career & Technical High School is giving interested students and their parents/guardians an opportunity to explore its range of programs at an open house 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21.
No registration is required.
The timing is right for students to begin exploring career pathways with promising futures, as employers in a range of industries struggle to fill positions coming out of the pandemic.
“So many employers were already struggling to find skilled, experienced workers to take over for an aging generation or fill vacancies,” said HCVSD Superintendent Dr. Todd Bonsall. “Then, the pandemic accelerated a digital revolution, further putting a strain on employers to find qualified candidates.”
