Hunterdon Art Museum hosts ArtParty benefit gala

Posted
For one night only, the Hunterdon Art Museum will be converted into the area’s swankiest lounge with gourmet food, classic cocktails, live music and more at its ArtParty 2019 fundraising gala from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

Celebrate an evening of the arts at “River Vibes: A Night at the Riverside Lounge,” with a unique lounge experience on all three floors of the museum: The Reflections Lounge, River Rocks Lounge and Moonlit Lounge. Each will each offer its own special atmosphere and flair.

The evening features an array of food – including roasted shrimp spoons, Mediterranean chicken brochette, candied bacon, a grazing station and carving station – all prepared and donated by Chef Mia Emerson of 15 Landsdowne Catering.

The food will be complemented by an assortment of classic cocktails, fine wine and beers, and The Lucky Cupcake Company will provide a display of desserts. Metropolitan Seafood & Gourmet is donating its seafood raw bar piled high with clams, oysters and other treats.

A silent art auction will offer a wide selection of original works of art, and experience and services packages. There will also be a variety of themed raffle baskets.

Each floor of the museum will have its own musicians: The River Tones Jazz Trio with Anthony Ware, Mike Noordzy and Michael Winnicki; and solo artists Michael Bond on keyboard and Arturo on guitar.

Tickets cost $175 each at hunterdonartmuseum.org or 908-735-8415. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Hunterdon Art Museum’s educational programs and exhibitions. The museum is at 7 Lower Center St. in Clinton, N.J.
