Posted
The Bucks County Science Research Competition (BCSRC) will be held March 11 to 13 at the Delaware Valley University in the James Work and Rudley Neumann gymnasiums.

The BCSRC is a local STEM research competition with 18 schools represented across Bucks County. This year around 400 students in grades six through 12 will compete.

The BCSRC is a qualifying science fair for the Delaware Valley Science Fair that encompasses 19 counties across Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Consequently, The Delaware Valley Science Fair is a qualifying event to compete in May at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair that will be hosted in Phoenix, Ariz.

Last year thousands of dollars in cash and scholarships were awarded at BCSRC, including full tuition scholarships to Delaware Valley University. Major sponsors include Delaware Valley University, Insaco Inc., The Dow Chemical Company, Mideastern Region PSEA/Council for the Advancement of Public Schools, CB Cares Educational Foundation, Central Bucks Education Association and Council Rock Education Association.

BCSRC is seeking additional event and award sponsors.
