Hootenanny, hosted by Sourland Mountain Spirits in Hopewell, N.J. took place Nov. 2.
A collaboration of the New Jersey chapter of The Nature Conservancy and the Wild Bird Research Group, the event kicked off the two nonprofit’s partnership for owl research in New Jersey. Hootenanny featured cocktails, a silent auction and learning stations that offered opportunities to see banding demonstrations, talk with habitat conservation experts and meet a live owl.
