“Hits of Broadway” hits Music Mountain stage

Posted
Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, N.J., presents the “Hits of Broadway,” this weekend, featuring songs from classic favorites like “West Side Story,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “Cats,” “Chicago,” “Annie Get Your Gun” and “A Little Night Music.”

Audiences will also hear some of Broadway’s more contemporary music, including “Side Show,” “Fun Home,” “Hamilton,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “The Band’s Visit” and a medley of Disney favorites.

“Hits of Broadway” features a cast of 25, including MMT company members.

MMT will be fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BCEFA) during all performances of “Hits of Broadway.” Last year, BCEFA donated $13.7 million to The Actors Fund and more than 450 social service agencies in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

Audiences will have a chance to donate by contributing funds and participating in a raffle for signed Broadway show posters for “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Anastasia” and “The Book of Mormon.”

“Hits of Broadway” runs Jan. 25 to 27, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students at musicmountaintheatre.org or 609-397-3337.
