History Chanel airs “After Jackie” Robinson

The History Channel presents “After Jackie,” the story of the African Americans who followed Jackie Robinson into Major League baseball, featuring longtime Bucks County resident and former National League President Bill White.

Conceived by longtime Bucks County resident David Sewell, the documentary, produced by LeBron James’ Spring Hill Productions, explores the struggle to fully integrate Major League Baseball, and subsequently society, by the men who played in the 1950s and 1960s.

The documentary airs at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18, on the History Channel.
