As was reported earlier this year, the Plumstead Historical Society (PHS) acquired the old chapel that was home to the Danboro Community Association (DCA) for decades.
Built in 1888 it was also an early home to the Plumstead Christian School in the late ‘40s and ‘50s. With the DCA it hosted Boy and Girl Scouts, reunions, wedding receptions, voting and the famous Strawberry Festival.
