Danny L. Thomas, executive director of the Bucks County Peace Center, will provide via Zoom an “Update on The Peace Center and Its Activities” at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, to the adult class of Newtown Quaker Meeting at newtownfriendsmeeting.org.
Thomas is professionally trained in conflict management skills. His primary focus is reconciliation and bridge building around the issues of racial, economic and educational disparity. He is also a pastor in the United Methodist Church. The congregations he has served have become active change agents and advocates in their communities.
Newtown Friends Meeting is currently open only for virtual sessions. Regular First Day Education classes (Sunday School) for all ages begin at 9:45 a.m. and Meeting for Worship begins at 11 a.m. – all on Zoom.
