The Bucks County Community College Foundation (BCCCF) will hold its 16th annual Salute to Mothers Scholarship Tea 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the Newtown campus.
Year after year, the afternoon event helps raise scholarship funds for student mothers who attend Bucks County Community College, where guests enjoy a tented tea affair with classic tea gourmet sandwiches and desserts within Tyler Gardens. This year adding to the festive celebration, the theme is “Hats off to Mothers,” and guests are encouraged to wear their best springtime hats.
Featured event speakers include BCCC President Dr. Felicia L. Ganther and student Nicole Heary. The first Carolyn Fegley Memorial Award recipient will also be officially announced.
