Posted

Hatboro Federal Savings presented a total of $222,222 in grants to eight local organizations that meet the criteria for Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
The EITC allows tax credits for eligible businesses that contribute to a scholarship, educational improvement or pre-kindergarten scholarship organization.
Recipients of EITC grants included: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County; Bucks County Community College Foundation; CB Cares; Centennial Education Foundation; Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation; Union Library of Hatboro; Upper Dublin Education Foundation; and Upper Moreland Education Foundation.

“Through the EITC grants, we are able to make a significant difference for local educational foundations and organizations that benefit children of all ages, especially during these difficult times,” said Linda Roehner, CEO, Hatboro Federal Savings.
“When we support organizations whose missions are to enrich and enhance educational opportunities for tomorrow’s leaders – whether through special classroom programs, creative outreach programs, or state-of-the-art instructional techniques – we are helping to set the students up for success in the future.”
