Growing the game of field hockey

Posted

Damp gray weather couldn’t keep student-athletes from both CB East and CB West field hockey teams from meeting up again on the turf at War Memorial Stadium one day this fall. The Doylestown rivals united in spirit and sportsmanship to demonstrate their love of the sport and to grow the game for younger generations (K-8) of local athletes, sharing skills, drills and lots of fun. The two squads also came together at War Memorial Stadium for the annual Pink Out game to help raise funds and awareness for Doylestown’s Pine2Pink organization, benefiting local breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery.
