More than $50,000 in net proceeds was raised at the 46th annual Grand View Auxiliary Golf Tournament – the largest amount raised in tournament history.
The event was held at Indian Valley County Club on Aug. 2 and the net proceeds will become part of the auxiliary’s annual gift to the Grand View Health Foundation.
A total of 136 golfers competed in 18 holes of a four-person scramble and several competitions, including longest drive, closest to the pin, beat the pro and a putting contest.
Martha Otto was thanked for her dedication as chairwoman of the golf tournament for 43 years.
During the post-tournament dinner, U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick made a surprise visit to present a proclamation to the Grand View Auxiliary recognizing the tournament and the auxiliary’s service to the community.
Fifty-five sponsors supported the event, including title sponsors Sodexo and Univest.
