Good Stuff Thrift donates $1 million to charity

Bucks County-based nonprofit, Good Stuff Thrift has donated $1 million in monetary support to local children’s charities around Bucks County as of August 2019.

The original charities are Bethany Christian Services, Hunting Park Christian Academy, Christ’s Home and ChoiceOne.

In 2019 Good Stuff expanded to provide much needed funds to Bethanna, the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, the Lenape Valley Foundation, Be the Family and Every Good Gift. All the charities support the health, safety and welfare of local children in some fashion.

“To have donated $1 million in six years is beyond our expectations” said Good Stuff CEO Ed Hudson. “We’re truly grateful to our donors and customers for supporting our mission. We would not have done it without them. The Good Stuff team is committed to reaching the $2 million mark much faster.”

The Good Stuff network is comprised of three stores around Bucks County, in Doylestown, Buckingham, and Fairless Hills. Good Stuff employs approximately 70 people, and operates entirely on the donations of the people of the Delaware Valley. Good Stuff Thrift wouldn’t be as efficient without the army of volunteers that give their time to its mission.
