The 6th annual “Give-Back Fest” will be held at The Zen Den, 41 E. State St., Doylestown from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9.
Those attending the event will be asked to contribute $10 per person to hear local musicians and performers, with all proceeds going to The Bucks County Housing Group food pantries.
The Give-Back Fest is a musical event showcasing performers of all ages from all genres. It was started by members of the community – Thomas Phillips, Meg Roth and Matt Mannino – to help those less fortunate in the Bucks County community, to showcase local talent and to acknowledge the generous local community.
Everything is donated for the event: The Zen Den has donated retail space, the musicians donate their time and talents and students from the CB Schools help ensure a successful affair.
Bring canned goods or a pair of new socks, mittens or gloves, or a gently used or new coat of all shapes, sizes and colors. In addition to monetary contributions, this year’s Give-Back Fest offers an opportunity to re-stock the local food pantries or support Class-Harlan Real Estate’s “Share the Glove, Sock & Mitten Drive!”
Give-Back Fest T-shirts will be sold at the event.
Since its inception, The Give-Back Fest, has donated thousands of dollars to the Bucks County Housing Group and hundreds of pounds of non-perishable items for the food pantries throughout Bucks County. It could not be done without the generous community and the event sponsors: Class-Harlan Real Estate, Thomas Phillips, The Zen Den, CB Cares and Villa Capri Sports Bar & Pizzeria.
