Gayman students organize night of desserts in 3D at Pine Run

Gayman Elementary’s Kids Care Club and local charity Be the Light of the Party Foundation celebrated the holidays and shared New Year’s wishes with the residents at Pine Run Lakeview in Doylestown during an especially sweet dessert party.

A cozy fireplace, fragrant cinnamon and fresh hot chocolate set the backdrop for a night of desserts, on Dec. 13, sponsored by the school and charity. The residents enjoyed caroling, conversation and candlelight with the students. Be the Light of the Party donated Godiva’s new G Cube chocolates to the event.

There was also a special 3D surprise. The party guests had the opportunity to view Pine Run through holiday colored glasses. Kids Care Club purchased 3D Holiday Specs that transformed ordinary lights into snowflakes, snowmen and other magical figures.

The students left the residents with snow globe door decorations and decorated gift bags, along with warm hugs and lasting memories.
