Fundraiser supports Pickering Manor campaign

Posted

Johnson, Kendall & Johnson (JKJ) and Isaac Newton’s Bar and Restaurant hosted a family-friendly fundraiser featuring Eagles alumni and Swoop to benefit Pickering Manor’s Capital Campaign.
JKJ, a longtime supporter of Pickering Manor, organized the event for the Manor’s Capital Campaign. The event included 11 assembled raffle baskets coordinated by Collen Albrecht, marketing specialist at JKJ. All items in the baskets were graciously donated by several business owners and members in the community, as well local Philadelphia sports organizations, such as the Philadelphia Union and Philadelphia Eagles.
Isaac Newton’s offered both indoor and outdoor options to accommodate guests’ comfortability levels. The beautiful fall evening drew over 75-plus guests and raised over $3,500 for Pickering Manor’s Capital Campaign - with more proceeds to be added as Isaac Newton’s will donate 10% of the night’s sales.

Michelle Knobloch, Pickering Manor’s CEO, expressed her gratitude: “Our hearts are full from the support we were shown on Wednesday night – a sincere thank you to JKJ, Isaac Newton’s and their amazing staff, the Philadelphia Eagles alumni – Sean Landeta and William Thomas, as well as Swoop. And last but certainly not least, our friends, family and community who came out and/or donated to support us – we feel blessed.”
Pickering Manor has reached 70% of its campaign goal of $1.5 million.
