Friday Night Jazz returns to Newtown Theatre

The historic Newtown Theatre’s monthly “Friday Night Jazz” series will welcome Philadelphia-based composer and saxophonist Jack Saint Clair and his six-piece ensemble at 8 p.m. Friday, March 18.
Saint Clair will perform a themed show titled “Jazz Goes to the Movies,” featuring popular movie music arranged for a jazz ensemble.
Saint Clair has performed throughout the Philadelphia region. He was the Director’s Choice Winner of the 2018-2019 David P. and Susan W. Wohlheuter Jazz Ensemble Composition Contest and has received commissions to write music for the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Temple University Jazz Orchestra, the Dutch Concert Big Band, and the Philly POPS.

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $25 per person or $20 for theater members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $35 at the door, at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough, on the night of the show, if available. All seating is general admission.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the theater before the show and during intermission.
