Freedom to Vote Act is important

Posted

I’m 79 and retired. I use a Rollator to get around, so voting by mail is very important to me and I would like to keep that ability. I don’t have much disposable income, so it really angers me to know that without passage of the Freedom to Vote Act my $10 contribution will mean nothing compared to donations by billionaires and big corporate donors.
Passing the Freedom to Vote Act will use common sense measures to solve so many problems.

Do you wonder, as I do, why all the negative attention is going to Sen. Manchin and Sen. Sinema rather than to the 50 Republicans who say they won’t vote for the Freedom to Vote Act?
Lynne Waymon, Newtown
