The Delaware River Greenway Partnership’s Board of Directors has appointed Alison Sommers-Sayre as the organization’s new executive director.

A Lambertville-area resident with a long history of serving the nonprofit sector, Sommers-Sayre also brings a background in strategic planning and land conservation and management to the post.

“Her strong administrative skills, background in fundraising and engagement, and her commitment to the community and its natural resources will be an asset as we enter our next phase of work promoting, protecting, and conserving the Delaware River,” said James Ryan Fisher, president of the Delaware River Greenway Partnership’s Board of Trustees, in a statement.

Sommers-Sayre has held multiple positions at Princeton University, including time in the role of assistant vice president of advancement.
