Former Doylestown bank employee charged with theft

A former PNC Bank employee in Doylestown Borough is accused of stealing nearly $18,000 from customer accounts from January through April 2019.

Heather L. Radhi, 38, of Levittown, turned herself in Wednesday, Feb. 26, and was arrested on charges of forgery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, Central Bucks Regional Police said.

Radhi stole $17,900 through unauthorized withdrawals from customer accounts during that time period, police said. They said individual withdrawal amounts ranged from $1,900 to $3,000 per customer account processed by Radhi.

Additionally, police said, an audit revealed a $2,000 shortage in Radhi’s teller drawer during the same timeframe. The bank is located at 398 N. Main St.

Radhi was arraigned before District Judge Regina Armitage and released on $100,000 unsecured with bail restrictions.
