Flemington Speedway Historical Society will pay tribute to Frankie Schneider from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, during the final day of the 12th annual Dirt Track Heroes event at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, N.J.

Former drivers who competed against Schneider will share their stories, and other racing personalities will share their memories of Schneider, who died Nov. 11, 2018 at the age of 92. Family members will also be present for the tribute, which is expected to draw a large crowd.

The Flemington Speedway Historical Society will have three cars on display, which Schneider drove, as well as a large collection of photos highlighting his racing career. Numerous other race cars from different divisions of racing will also be on display.

Schneider was a stock car, modified, midget, and sprint car racer. He also ran go-carts, slingshots, late models, and did some road racing.
He is believed to have won at least 750 races during his career.
