Update added Sept. 30, 2022, at 9:10 a.m.: Due to the inclement weather forecasted, Flemington Community Partnership’s 2nd Annual Hunterdon Harvest Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, has been postponed to Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The rescheduled farm-to-festival celebration of local craft breweries, farmers, artisans, and restaurants will include all the fun and festivities originally planned, with an added Halloween twist.

Flemington Community Partnership presents the second annual Hunterdon Harvest Fest, a farm-to-festival celebration of local craft breweries, farmers, artisans, and restaurants from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 2.)

The festival takes place in the artisan district at Flemington’s Stangl Road, and features local food from area farms, drink from seven Hunterdon County craft breweries, live music from local bands and DJs, family friendly activities, craft vendors, and more.

“We are surrounded by 1,600 farms, outstanding breweries, wineries, and something for everyone. Flemington is in the sweet spot of Hunterdon County, which is truly the ‘Garden’ of the Garden State,” said Robin Lapidus, executive director at the Flemington Community Partnership.

Highlights of this year’s festival, which features over 50 participating vendors and businesses, includes gourmet hot dogs by Doggie Style; pumpkin or vanilla ice cream with cream cheese glaze drizzle and cinnamon sugar by Humdoo Ice Cream; fresh salads and “Stick It” local cheese, dried sausage, and veggies on a stick by The Salad Basket; roasted corn, baked potatoes, and caramel apples by Sweet Valley Farm; specialty plants, flower arrangements and small paintings from Greenhouse Flemington; handmade whiskey barrel cutting boards and more by Allerton Creek Farm; mini hay bales and fall décor from Deer Run Hay Farm; and new ‘Love Flemington’ T-shirts and tank tops.

The musical band Desoto Jones featuring Flemington local talent Greg Townsend, will take the main stage in the afternoon. Other participants include popular children’s performer Ms. Maureen, and a Community Art Project that embraces Flemington’s motto “Be a Part of the Art.”
