Robin Lapidus has joined the Flemington Community Partnership (FCP) as its new executive director.

“We are extremely delighted and excited to have Robin take on the Executive Director position for the Flemington Community Partnership, said Bob King, FCP Board of Directors chair.

“We look forward to having Robin expand upon the very solid foundation that the FCP has achieved in the past few years. Robin’s experience and leadership qualities will help attract and further develop a thriving business community in Flemington for years to come.”

Lapidus is a New Jersey native, and a graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, N.J. She graduated from Eugene Lang College in New York and earned a Masters’ of Education degree from Harvard University.

“I am so excited to be coming home to New Jersey, and thrilled to have the opportunity to share my experience in Flemington – a community with a rich historic past, and so many exciting opportunities for present success and future growth,” said Lapidus.

Her professional career has been focused solely on improving business districts, most recently as the executive director of the business association in Provincetown, Mass., and previously for business associations in Cambridge, Mass.

Stakeholders and visitors will be introduced to Lapidus at upcoming meetings and events, including the opening of the Flemington Filling Station on Friday, May 24.
