The Falls Township Board of Supervisors maintained its current leadership for the fourth straight year.

Jeffry Dence was unanimously selected Tuesday, Jan. 3, to serve as chairman, while Jeff Boraski was unanimously chosen to continue as vice chairman. Both have served in their respective roles since 2020.

“Jeff’s done a great job for us over the last couple years,” Boraski said.

“I appreciate the confidence,” Dence said.

The board selected Supervisor Brian Galloway to continue serving as secretary-treasurer and Township Manager Matthew Takita as assistant secretary-treasurer.

Supervisor Erin Mullen was absent Tuesday.

The law firm of Rudolph Clarke was reappointed as township solicitor and Jones Engineering Associates was reappointed as township engineer. The board appointed Bidlingmaier & Bidlingmaier as its special counsel and Obermayer as labor counsel.

Arlene Goulding was reappointed as vacancy board chairwoman.

The board appointed several residents to various volunteer boards. Openings are available on the zoning hearing board and the planning commission.

In other business, the Falls Supervisors set its 2023 board meetings for the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m. Beginning in April, the Falls Supervisors meetings will likely be held at another location, potentially the Middletown Township municipal building, as construction begins on the Falls municipal building.
