Fall Collection Drive to benefit Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic

Posted

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted everyone’s lives over the past 18 months, as well as created an extra burden on the local health care systems.
Fortunately for underserved county residents, the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic has significantly stepped up to meet the growing needs, including offering free COVID vaccinations to its clients who are uninsured.
To help fund its free medical, dental and behavioral health services for children and their families, the Ann Silverman Clinic is partnering with Good Stuff Thrift to host a Fall Cleaning Collection Drive. According to Sally Fabian-Oresic, executive director of the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, “Your donations of household goods, furniture and clothing will help support our work in Bucks County because Good Stuff Thrift provides cash donations from the profits of its three stores to help nonprofit organizations like the Ann Silverman Clinic.”

The Fall Collection Drive is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 25 (rain or shine) at the Medical Building, 875 N. Easton Road, Doylestown
Community members are invited to clean out their closets for a good cause and bring their donations to a contactless drop-off site where Ann Silverman Clinic volunteers will load donated items into a Good Stuff truck. For a complete listing of items accepted by Good Stuff Thrift, visit goodstuffthrift.org.
