Falcons will show their skills at Buckingham Green

Posted

A falconer and his raptor friends will visit Wild Birds Unlimited from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. Master falconer Greg Wojtera, a licensed falconer, holds “hands-on” falconry classes.

Wojtera has worked with more than 55 raptors in the past 13 years. He trains and flies hawks, falcons and owls for a variety of purposes, including hunting, falconry-based bird abatement (bird control) and education. He created Masters of the Skies in 2014 to educate the public about birds of prey and falconry, and he has been working as a full-time falconer and educator since 2016.

Wild Birds Unlimited is in Buckingham Green, Route 202, Buckingham Township.
