At Peace Valley Park on Tuesday morning, the photographer came upon a great blue heron in a photogenic spot, standing in the water amid the reflection of an autumnal tree. A short distance away, a great egret was perched in a tree. Both were at the Chapman Road Bridge area in full view of walkers, bicyclists and a parade of school children, all appreciative of the scene.
