A book launch and celebration of “An Enlightened Community: 20th Century LGBT Stories of New Hope, Pennsylvania” was held at The Cub Room of the New Hope Lodge June 25.
Published by the Friends of the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury and New Hope Celebrates, “An Enlightened Community” is a compilation of stories and photos from more than 75 donors. Proceeds from sales of the book will directly benefit the two organizations’ work in the community.
