Emmanuel Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall, 560 S. Main St., Quakertown, will be transformed into a showcase of prizes Oct. 5 and 6, at the church’s 12th annual Basket Bonanza.
The hall will be filled with tables full of prize baskets to be raffled off. Participants can take a chance on themed baskets with gift certificates to local businesses and services, pampering products, jewelry, specialty foods, holiday items and more.
Prizes are designed to appeal to all ages and interests, and there are even some for pets.
Light lunch and snacks will also be available in the church Fellowship Hall.
The largest basket will not be raffled off; instead, it will be given to the Quakertown Food Pantry. Everyone is invited to bring non-perishable food donations to help fill the basket.
Proceeds from the Basket Bonanza benefit Emmanuel’s mission and outreach. Tickets will be sold at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Prizes will be drawn beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, and ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
